From serving time in state prison to studying in Kaplan Hall, rising fourth-year English student Benjamin Frandsen has never stopped telling stories. Frandsen arrived at UCLA last summer after applying from Valley State Prison, where he was incarcerated for nearly twenty years on convictions of second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.
The company, founded by its dynamic Artistic Director, Karen Pilkington-Miksa, is delighted to announce a series of summer festival and theatre performances during June and July.
