Milk procurement has increased by 5.6% YoY in June compared to the previous year, according to the government. Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Parshottam Rupala, stated that there has been no report of shortages of milk or milk products in the country.

The government on Tuesday asserted that there is no shortage of milk and other dairy products in the country, although milk prices have risen in recent months.
