Paatil held a meeting with the party s Rajput leaders in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to find a solution to pacify members of the Rajput or Kshatriya community, who are up in arms against Rupala over the remarks. After the meeting, Paatil urged the Rajput community to forgive Rupala saying he has already apologised thrice over the matter.
Sources within the party, however, said that talks with a few leaders was not going to help. "For starters, only the leaders from Saurashtra were called for today s meeting," said a party functionary on condition of anonymity. "But the protests have spread all over the state and are not limited only to Saurashtra anymore," he added.
Union minister Parshottam Rupala on Sunday stressed the need to tap the entire potential of the dairy industry in the country, maintaining that only about 25 per cent of the total milk produced is sold through the organised sector. He urged the youth to engage in the dairy sector by employing the latest technologies to ensure a substantial earning.
In terms of annual growth rate, Karnataka clocked the highest rate at 8.76 per cent followed by West Bengal (8.65 per cent) and Uttar Pradesh (6.99 per cent) over the previous year. Egg production has been estimated at 138.38 billion in 2022-23, up 33.31 per cent from 103.80 billion numbers in 2018-19. Egg output increased annually by 6.77 per cent in 2022-23 over 2021-22.
