activity, because the investigation of the shooter is in high gear right now, and you may see some of these police units, the unmarked ones, especially, leaving the scene so that they can assist in the other phase, which is basically writing a biography on this shooter to get to know everything they can about him as soon as they can. steve moore, thank you so much, appreciate that analysis. if you are just joining us, right now, we are following a shooting in allen, texas. we know from law enforcement officials that one shooter is dead. there were earlier reports of a second shooter. law enforcement says they do not believe there was a second shooter. nine people have been transported by ambulance to medical facilities. law enforcement says they are not sure if other additional victims may have been transported in private cars. this point, law enforcement says it is too soon to give firm numbers on the total fatalities. congressman for this district tells us at this point,
shooting was spread over that long period of time. and during those moments, many of the people who were inside the area, around that point in the parking lot where the shooting took place, scrambled, running inside department stores, hiding in the back storage areas, and that s where many people sought shelter and sat there and waited. several people have told us they were in those areas for an hour an a half, almost close to two hours as they waited for law enforcement teams to come through each of the stores, clearing out the scenes, securing the areas, and then being escorted through the parking lot, away from the outlet mall with their hands up in the air. again, the crowds that are out here this afternoon have thinned out a little bit. many of these people had to leave the scene without their belongings, obviously their cars. this is the paula, the back part, the western side of the outlet mall, and it is, you know, a shopping area where everything kind of feeds into a
