UN Reports: Global Temperatures To Set A Break Records: World Meteorological Organisation reported on Wednesday that there will be a breach of 1.5 degree Celsius temperature. At least between 2023-2027, there will be a threshold in temperature of at least 1.5 degrees Celsius or more.
According to a recent IPCC report (top-level UN reports written by scientists), only 10 to 30 percent of coral reefs are expected to survive warming of up to 1.5 degrees Celsius. If the temperature rises above that, the chances of survival are severely harmed.
