It has also confirmed it will support two new Carbon Capture and storage projects in northeast scotland and the humber. These would capture Carbon Dioxide where fossil fuels are burned and pipe it under the sea to store it. Climate campaigners fear it is a tactic to keep the Fossil Fuel Industry in business.
