competent strategy. it looks like to me, i will wait for it to come in, the electorate looked more 2018ish than 2014 or 2010. that s the thing that worries democrats, if we get a distorted turnout like 2010 or 2004. so far it has not happened. in georgia in 92 we lost a run-off after president clinton one. we run two run-offs in georgia in 2021 actually. we outperformed in mexico. the turnout in virginia primaries were high. the race people will be looking at was virginia governor. this certainly was not bad news for democrats. i don t think it is definitive outcome for 2022. it is certainly not bad. it seems like in virginia terry mcauliffe is already painting, you know, his opponent as, you know, a trumpian. is that the i mean is that the way forward for democrats in races from here on? it is part of it, absolutely because that excites democrats. i mean the republicans are white
voters, but largely targeting communities of color that outperformed in the 2020 and 2021 run-offs here in georgia. and, you know, everyone seems to understand that, we think, in the democratic party, which is the party that, you know, is the preferred choice of the majority of voters of color. and yet despite the fact that you have fellow democratic senators in georgia doing a field hearing today, you know, kyrsten sinema is tweeting about how much she loves and respects onlewis. i will echo, saying it is a funny way to show he is your hero by not reflecting any of the things that he believes in. bishop barber called it shameful to claim you honor john lewis when blocking the work he was trying to do. harriet pointed out it was difficult to find in googling ms. sinema s background any note of her having revered john lewis. what do you make of democrats who love to quote lewis as well
