MP and actress Nusrat Jahan married Nikhil Jain in Turkey
Kolkata, June 9: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP and Bengali actor Nusrat Jahan on Wednesday claimed her marriage with her husband Nikhil Jain to be âinvalidâ and also claimed that her separation happened long back but she didnât make it public.
Notably, two years back in June 2019, Nusrat made a destination marriage with businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey.
In a statement Nusrat said, âBeing on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, ceremony is invalid. It was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act in India which didn t happen. As per court of Law, itâs not marriage but relationship or live-in relationship.â
