The Noida Police nabbed eight criminal suspects within 48 hours after a series of encounters in which seven of them suffered gunshot injuries, according to officials.
A history-sheeter was arrested after a gunfight in Bisrakh on Friday, a day after he allegedly thrashed a security guard to death with sticks. The arrested man, Yogendra, is a hardened criminal with several cases of loot and dacoity registered against him. The victim has been identified as Dheeraj Kumar (28), a resident of Hardoi. Dheeraj worked as a security guard at a society in Greater Noida West.
