So, if you have an early commute, you are looking pretty good except for a couple of spots where were starting to see some of the scattered showers move in, approaching 280 in the peninsula. So, as we go into the rest of the morning, we will see some very hit or miss rain and then once again ramps up as we go later into the morning. Right now, feeling chilly temperatures. 41 degrees in the north bay and 51 degrees in the east bay and expect highs to stay in the low 50s and some of us will not make it out of the 50s. Inside right now, one guy who will board it up and another a fire investigator trying to figure out what happened. Thankfully, there was no one inside. Listen to what made the fire more difficult. Neighbors shared this video with us from our cell phone. You can hear the crackling of the downed power lines. Firefighters said this is what made it more difficult when they got here around 2 30 and couldnt access the house due to those lines and also a gas leak. Firefighters trying to determine the exact cause and whether it was set intentionally. This house did have power going to it initially when they would have been in the house. They wld have had access to electric when they were needed it. There didnt seem to be any candles or anything that caused it. Again, our investigator will check it out. Gusts around oakland, sfo, san kor lose right now, anywhere from 22 to 29 miles per hour. So this wind coming out of the north is certainly making it cooler faster.
