Ndtv-Dettol Banega Swasth India spoke to Yogi and Kabeer, a queer couple based in Delhi, about some of the basic rights and benefits they are unable to access which are available to the heterosexual couples like nominating their partners for insurance policies, opening a joint account or adopting a child. Building a healthy and inclusive society means nobody can be left behind, but as Yogi and Kabeer highlight when it comes to the LGBTQIA+ community the road to inclusion is still far off.
