Rustlers supports food-to-go category with new units Print 8th March 2021 Rustlers is launching a range of food-to-go solutions for retail outlets, in a move designed to appeal to the 33% of consumers not working from home. The range includes a Rustlers branded microwave, two food-to-go units and a multi-station. The microwave retailers between £250 and £450 and is pre-programmed to cook Rustlers products but can also cook other microwavable products. The Rustlers Food-to-Go Unit is priced at £1,100 and is suitable for “a small footprint to maximise available floor space”. It features an all-in-one integrated until with microwave, sanitisation station, a large preparation space and wipe clean surface, as well as a large area underneath for a waste bin.

8th March 2021 A new range of food-to-go solutions for convenience retailers is being launched by Rustlers, the £115m brand owned by Kepak. The move from the snacking brand follows the launch of Rustlers’ food-to-go solutions into the OOH sector last year. Working with Nebrak, a company that specialises in micro market systems, Rustlers has launched four concepts to provide solutions for every store. “2020 saw a rapid change in consumer behaviour, namely the shift to more home working. However, there are still 10.6 million people (33% of the total workforce) in key worker occupations and industries who continue to seek meal options throughout the day. Retailers need to appeal to these consumers by offering a 24/7 hot food-to-go solution,” said Ross Davison, Convenience Controller at Kepak Consumer Foods.
