Two more legislators, belonging to the Apna Dal, an ally of the BJP, have resigned just ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled to take place next month.
Former Uttar Pradesh ministers Swami Prasad Maurya, Dharam Singh Saini and Dara Singh Chauhan, along with other MLAs who defected from the BJP, will join the Samajwadi Party on Friday.
