He basically said this was a gang issue between two gangs. The situation basically was around 9 30 am, 9 40 am, Santa Rosa Police were called to Ridgeway High School and told there had been a shooting. When they got there there was a person who had been shot in the stomach who was transported to the hospital. The condition of that person, i do not know but you may have information since weve been out here doing this. Rather than go through the details, one important ta was not only was ridgway lockdown the Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa High School one combined campus. They were all shut down. This is what the police had to say before this wrapped up. Moments ago, our office is on the scene detained a possible suspect on the campus of Ridgeway High School. The suspect is being questioned by detectives now. We are still looking for the handgun used in the incident and until the handgun has been located we will continue to lockdown the school campus.
