In the city of gilroy yesterday, multiple Community Members report what they thought was raids on immigrants. This is an immigrant community so it hits home. Reporter the department of Homeland Security did not return our request for confirmation, but city Officials Say they are looking into the matter on behalf of their residents. We want to make sure they feel comfortable approaching local Law Enforcement to report any crimes or any other issues they may have. Helicopters to evacuate people off of their properties up on those hillsides and get them down to the evacuation shelters. Now, as they were just mentioning, hundreds of people were told they have to evacuate. Three Evacuation Centers have been set up in napa county. Those are at the napa county fairgrounds, the Crosswalk Church on first street, and the calastoga fair grounds. Officials say there are many people at each of those centers already. We just spoke to the spokesperson from the red cross. They are ready to take in more. They are opening more shelters. That are doing so now as we speak.
