Police officers, they knock on the steel door and demanded owners to open up and once they did the robbers pointed a gun to their heads and made them open up a safe containing two bags filled with the money. This happened arm 2 15 when owners were getting ready to open for business. Both men had baseball caps on it that had the word police on it, and one was possibly wearing a badge around his neck. At the time there was another employee inside who hid from the armed men. When detectives arrived owners were shaken up but not injured there was a language barrier so an interpreter had to come in. Police say gunman tried to dismantle the Warehouse Security system before taking off with the money. They then tried to tear some off the recording video, equipment, off of the wall, which they did, so they threw it to the ground and then they exited through the same door that they entered and fled in the vehicle. She is charged with kidnapping herly assaulting her. Lu ann cahn was there. Reporter i have not seen the jury react until today when they saw pictures of this little girls injuries. They were clearly upset. I even saw some reporters put their heads down. Some of the most graphic, horrific photos that any human being could be forced to witness. Reporter we observed the jury during the testimony of the child abuse expert. They said the little girl told doctors she was assaulted with a tooth pick. But it was more consistent with a broom handle. Some of the worst injuries the doctor said she had ever seen. The woman allegedly responsible for the injuries, Christina Regusters didnt react. Some jurors dabbed tears from their eyes, others shook their head. One turned away. Earlier in the day, the owner of this day care broke down as she testified remembering the day a woman dressed in muslim garb kidnapped the child. He was pronounced a short time later and now with no motive,ly say theyre still trying to piece this case together. We know that the shooter was in pretty close proximity to the 17yearold victim. Now, from first responding officers and witnesses, at the time the shots were fired, there was a basketball game going on on the Basketball Court, and right next to the Basketball Court, they were having a cookout. Reporter now, police right now scouring the area for the shooter. Witnesses say that the suspect fired off at least ten shots before taking off down eighth street. Luckily, no one else was hurt, but detectives at this point tell us that they are checking surveillance cameras in the area that point down to the Basketball Court. Theyre hoping that theyre able that they will be able to gather some video from this shooting in order to find the
