All lanes of the baltimore washington parkway are back open following a couple of accidents, including a fatality just before dawn today. Ron matz is live in the news room with this. Reporter all northbound and southbound lanes of 295 at 175 were shut down. The closures led to huge back ups along the bw parkway as you can see. According to park police an adult male was struck around 5 00 a. M. By a vehicle traveling south on 295. Investigators say the man was hit following another accident on the same highway. Were still trying to determine exactly what happened. There seems to have been an accident northbound and then the subject was struck southbound issue just south of 175. The 4 and a half hour trip with her daughter is still unclear. Dr. Bryan evans a dentist in connecticut said kerry worked as a hygienist in his office for 2 years. Sometimes it just doesnt work out. Theres nothing unusual about her leaving our office. Sources tell cbs news kerry had fallen and hit her head last year and after wards her behavior changed. They are expected to be okay. Maryland state police are investigating a crash in Anne Arundel County this afternoon that claimed the life of an elderly woman. Sky eye chopper 13 was over the scene. It happened just 1 00 at route 3. Police say a suv and sedan collided. The woman killed was 73 years old. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash. A school bus heading to Pikesville Middle School over turns injuring five students and the driver. W
