A short time later the all clear was sounded and the meeting was able to continue one of the hardest hit areas today was in des moines. Moines. Thats where a tornado touched down at the international airport. Widespread damage was reported in neighborhoods around the metro area. Significant damage was also reported in nearby knoxville, where witnesses say a tornado ripped part of the roof off a walmart. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported.
