In a White House COVID-19 briefing on Friday, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and others, pointed out where this pandemic is now going and who it’s affecting.
“There is a clear message that is coming through. This is becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Walensky said.
During the national press briefing, Florida was called out for its case increases. Just four states accounted for more than 40% of all cases in the past week, with 1 in 5 of all cases occurring in Florida alone, White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zients said.
