KAFF News NAU Women Beats UTEP In The Jacks Home Opener The NAU women’s basketball team saw the return of Big Sky preseason MVP Khiarica Rasheed as the Jacks used that energy to beat the UTEP Miners, 83-75 in the home opener Thursday at the Rolle Activity Center. J.J Nakai scored 20 points in her first game back in Flagstaff since playing at Coconino High School. Emily Rodabaugh and Miki’ala Maio each scored 14 points in the win. Rasheed scored six points in limited action in her first game of the season. The Jacks improve to 4-2 on the season and now head to Tucson Saturday to take on the New Mexico State Aggies at noon.
