PETALING JAYA: Lawyer Datuk Zaid Ibrahim and his partners, Liew Teck Huat and M. Rueben, have been exonerated by the Bar Council disciplinary board of any breach of the Legal Profession Act (LPA) 1976 or any other wrongdoing as alleged by Malaysian Bar president Karen Cheah.
The Federal Court had on Thursday (March 30) fixed June 27 as the hearing date for the review of the previous apex bench’s decision last year not to grant leave to the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) to reinstate fines on AirAsia Bhd and Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS). The date was confirmed by Muayyad Khairulmaini from Lim Chee Wee Partnership, who appeared for MyCC.
PUTRAJAYA: The review application filed by Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the Federal Court would proceed as planned, as the judges presiding over the matter have been prepared, says the Chief Justice.
