Minster man sentenced to 8 years in prison By Kyle Shaner - kshaner@sidneydailynews.com SIDNEY – A Minster man, who pleaded guilty to eight counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, was sentenced to eight years in prison in Shelby County Common Pleas Court. Judge James F. Stevenson sentenced Kenneth D. Marker, 25, of Minster, to 12 months in prison on each charge, all of which are fourth degree felonies. Marker will serve the terms consecutively, meaning one after another, for a total of 96 months in prison. As part of a plea deal, 11 other charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, each a fourth degree felony, were dismissed.

Men indicted on pandering charges By Kyle Shaner - kshaner@sidneydailynews.com SIDNEY – Two men were indicted Feb. 18 by the Shelby County grand jury on charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor. Bradley A. Stangel, 30, at large, was indicted on 20 charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, each a second degree felony. Stangel is accused of reproducing material showing minors participating or engaging in sexual activity from May 2, 2019, to Jan. 2, 2020. Kenneth D. Marker, 25, of Minster, was indicted on 19 charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor, each a fourth degree felony. Marker is accused of downloading and possessing obscene material involving minors on Feb. 3.
