17 December 2020 | 10:03am StockMarketWire.com - St James s Place has appointed Prudential’s Paul Manduca to succeed Iain Cornish as its chairman. Manduca will join the board as a non-executive director and take over from Cornish on 1 January 2021. Cornish joined the board of St. James s Place in 2011 and became chair in 2018. He will step down as a director at the 2021 AGM. Manduca is currently chairman of Prudential, a position he has held since July 2012, and he is due to step down in December. He was the founding chief executive of Threadneedle Asset Management and the global chief executive of Rothschild Asset Management.

SJP appoints Prudential chair to replace Iain Cornish By Sonia Rach 17 SJP’s head offices in Cirencester St James’s Place has appointed Prudential chair Paul Manduca as successor to Iain Cornish when he steps down at the company’s AGM next year. Subject to regulatory approval, Manduca will join the board as a non-executive director and chair designate on 1 January 2021. Manduca, who joined the Prudential board in 2010 as senior independent director and has been chair since 2012, will step down from his role on 31 December 2020. He has held a number of senior roles in the industry, including global chief executive officer of Rothschild Asset Management and European chief executive of Deutsche Asset Management. He is also one of the founding CEOs of Threadneedle Asset Management currently chairman of the Templeton Emerging Markets investment trust.
