prison. calamari said would you care for me he said yes. these were normal people, not paul manaforts or rick or roger stones, not rick, sorry, they were regular people, and i know they ve changed. power corrupts and money corrupts but i can t see them going to jail and i cannot see ever, ever, ever letting a child take the fall. that won t happen. barbara res, thank you very much. appreciate you being here this evening. democrats and two republicans, all the democrats and two republicans voted to create a select committee to investigate the january 6th attack on our capitol while the vast majority of house republicans the 190 who voted to show up anyway voted against it. i would like to know that they did this gleefully under the eyes of u.s. capitol police officer harry dunn, metropolitan
subpoenas. s actions and going after reporters in the way that they have, gag orders that were issued. but also, as you point out, the intervention of the attorney apparently in this investigation involving our committee but also to reduce the sentence of roger stone s, who committed perjury lying up dismissiic to lying to federal authorities. so, i think that the attorney general has an obligation to clean house, to essentially understand exactly what the department was doing in the last four years. make sure that there is accountability for those that were engaged in political and partisan investigations within the department. and, you know, in terms of the oversight of congress, i don t think that i have a role in that. given that is on my records were essentially sent to a subpoena.

Voter suppression has been around for as long as the republic. Stories of subterfuge and ballot box-stuffing schemes are such a part of American political folklore, there’s an entire book about them. So in one sense, there is nothing particularly novel about Republican politicians’ efforts to rig the vote, or the important revelations that rightwing groups and corporate officials are coordinating state-level campaigns to make it harder to vote.
Greenwald s become such a liar - why do you give him so much consideration?
That s where it s at for me. I posted this once before but to repeat. I like Sam Harris. I ve read almost all his books as well as watched many of his debates and some of his podcasts.I don t agree with everything he s said, no one is ever 100% right all the time, but I know what he said and wrote. Greenwald attacked him with lies and quotes taken out of context which is just another was of lying. Unless I know all the details of a subject I can t trust a word out of Greenwald s mouth and if I already know all the details why look to Greenwald for information?
Misinformation in the Aftermath of Trump QAnon, Stop the Steal, and everything in between by Dan Schank

You know the story already. After months of unsubstantiated claims about a rigged election, Trump supporters gathered for a March to Save America on the National Mall. In the words of the former president, they came together to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated
[1]. At the end of a characteristically unscripted speech, Trump encouraged his supporters to set off for the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.
