TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - As groups of hostages get released from Hamas captivity, people in Israel and around the world are anxiously waiting for their return.
Thirteen hostages were freed Friday as part of a deal between Israel and Hamas. Ten Thai hostages and one Filipino hostage, who are not part of the agreement, were also killed. Six elderly people, three mothers and their four children were also released. The releases bring to 29 the total number of hostages released, out of the approximately 240 people taken to Gaza during the October 7 attack.
