Clocked going 90 miles per hour. At least one if not two Virginia State police attempted to follow the vehicle but were stopped short. The woman pulled into the Walter Read Medical Center and neighed a u turn right made a u turn right in front of the guard booth. Law personnel tried to speak with her. We were told they noticed her biting or attempting to eat a bar of soap. She took off and hit a car and headed south before turning around and heading into the medical center. At that point the military Security Officer approached her. She refused to roll down her window, the officer knocked down a window out of her car. The woman started driving away on a grassy area next to the sidewalk. We were told there was a Naval Security person here. The car was coming towards that person. I think he was on foot. The Camp County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported theft of a 2019 Branson 3520R tractor, front loader, and a backhoe attachment. The owner notified the sheriff's office of the alleged Rocky Mound area theft around 10:30 Wednesday morning. The owner last saw it on Thursday, January 4. Anyo
A total of three rollover wrecks occurred within almost a 24-hour period across different areas of Young County from Tuesday to Wednesday.Rocky Mound Road rollover The Young County Sheriff’s Office responded at 8:51 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 with other local emergency units to a vehicle rollover wreck in the 2900 block of Rocky Mound Road. Graham EMS, Graham Fire Department, Salt Creek VFD and other emergency units arrived and assisted in extraction of the driver, Donald Kramer, from the unloaded Mack dump truck.
