Sudden back ups south of the area. Mill valley and farther north is the Richmond San Rafael bridge. The bay bridge, the metering lights are on. We zoom out. The slowing in san jose has not cleared up yet. A live look shows from the camera in san jose, the reason why. We have rain hit the lens. Everything is blurry. The chp is investigating whether rainy roads played a part in a deadly crash this morning. The victim was a 76yearold man who lost control of his pickup truck on the southbound 101 ramp. You can see the truck flipped on to the dirt median. The driver may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash. You can see snow has fallen in the sierra and the roads are wet. The Golden Gate Bridge dealing with light showers this morning as is the Richmond San Rafael. We have light rain moving across the span from richmond over to marin county. You can see its the entire stretch from the oakland side all the way into San Fransisco with rain impacting 880. As we slide the map youll see a loft the east bay shoreline impacting 880, 580, down to 185, down to Castro Valley where we see a little bit of a break but then more rain again.
