The neighborhood has been blocked off since this afternoon and police have been bringing in more and more equipment throughout the day for their investigation. The fire is in lake county, off rocky creek and morgan valley. Its north of santa rosa in lake county. Conditions are now, the fire is at 150 acres, plus. So this fire is growing rapidly. Its a fastmoving fire. And the terrain is in the heavy brush and timber. Suzy, why is it moving so fast . The wind or terrain, or both . Its both. So winds are 11 miles per hour, but we know that terrain is dry and drought ridden. So you know the fuels are heavy. And there is a lot of brush up there. Talk more about the evacuations. The clouds of smoke are staggering. And i would agree with that. The wind is mainly out of the west. That is the direction the wind is coming from. West, southwest county line. Look at temps though. 50s and 60s humidity. 80 . That is really good. Last week it was in the teens or the 20s. That is a big, big difference. But of course the fire has its own weather habits.
