As a graduate of Mayo High School and the University of Minnesota Rochester, I have a very personal stake in the quality of our local public education. Specifically, the integration of technology and learning has made me who I am today.
As a parent with children in the Rochester Public School (RPS) district, it’s a no-brainer to support the upcoming capital projects levy because our district already spends $7 million out of the general fund for technology. The passage of the capital projects levy redirects those funds back to the General Fund, sustaining current class sizes.
