Citizens braved a cloudy and cold April morning to spread a message of love and unity at a Rochester bridge that was vandalized by a racial slur last week.
"We're working to make Minnesota the best state in the country for a kid to grow up and our work extends far beyond the walls of this school," Gov. Tim Walz said.
A bill introduced in the Minnesota House would allow school districts to cut down the length of their school week without getting permission from the Minnesota Department of Education.
