it shut down the pumps, and that affected the water pressure. there are still about 200,000 people without water. that includes some of the hospitals in our area. take a look at this video we shot earlier to give you an idea what s going on here. the two hospitals in our area, saint joseph s and gbmc. as of one this afternoon, the gbmc experienced a drop in water pressure. the er still remains open. gbmc also has a 96-hour emergency stockpile of water on hand, including drinking water. as for saint joe s they lost water this afternoon. they re also using a reserve supply, enough to last for four days. they brought in more hand sanitizer to cut down on water usage in the hospital. now, as you can also imagine, all of these problems with the water pressure has affected a lot of the business in our area as well. . right next to our studios, everybody s favorite starbuck s next to our place was without water. they had a lot of low water pressure, because there was simply no water
