SAN ANGELO A San Angelo man charged in the 2020 stabbing death of Rhyheme Talton, 26, faced the jury Tuesday morning.
Roberto Arambula Jr., 48, sat in the 119th District Court about 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 and pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. During the first day of the trial, the jury saw photos and video from the Stripes Convenience Store, and heard audio from a 9-1-1 call.
Allison Palmer, 51st District Attorney, called Debra Gatlin, former general manager for Stripes, to the stand. Gatlin described how she received the call and arrived to merchandise and blood scattered around the store.
