Our Opinion: Over the next 20 years, we will continue our commitment to being Oregon s best and largest source of local news.
When the Portland Tribune launched to much fanfare 20 years ago this week, very few people outside our organization thought we d be around for more than a year or two. Negativity abounded, especially among media competitors and journalism pundits, who gave us little chance for success.

If you have any doubt about that assertion, please visit our homepage at PortlandTribune.com and look at each of Pamplin Media Group s 29 websites. You will find an abundance of stories about each of the communities we cover.
