BURTON, S.C. (WCSC) -Beaufort County deputies are asking for information about a man in connection with a shootout at a Burton gas station.
Robert Steed Jr., 21, fled from the Shell Food Mart on Trask Parkway after being involved in the shootout, deputies say.
The Sheriffâs Office says Steed Jr. was still in possession of an assault rifle when he fled and have obtained warrants for his arrest for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated breach of peace.
