On Friday, Thompson and Lyon each were charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted federal building or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry, and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Thompson also was charged with theft of the coat rack. The charges were filed in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia, where all the charges against those involved in the insurrection are being handled.

Brandon and Stephanie Miller, of Bradford, were arrested March 12 after a family member reported their activities related to the Capitol riot.
The Millers are charged with four counts related to the events that disputed the Senate s verification of November s presidential election. Court documents state the Millers took selfies in the Capitol and sent messages on Facebook telling people they were there.

Caleb Jones, 23, from the Northwest Side, is accused of climbing a wallto gain access to the U.S. Capitol and was subjected to tear gas on Jan. 6, according to documents in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia.
