SANTA MONICA, CA A couple riding scooters was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint this week in Santa Monica by two suspects from Wisconsin, police said. The men are now in custody and facing multiple charges.
Updated: 5:17 PM EST Feb 12, 2021 The Baltimore Ravens Jimmy Smith and his family were reportedly robbed at gunpoint, according to reports.The Ravens cited The Athletic s Jeff Zrebiec s reporting that the veteran cornerback and his family were followed from Los Angeles International Airport to their hotel, where they were robbed at gunpoint.Smith and his family weren t hurt, Zrebiec reported.Los Angeles police have not released much information about their investigation so far.The Ravens released a statement Friday afternoon, saying: We are aware of the situation involving Jimmy Smith. We have spoken with Jimmy, and he and his family are safe.

GREATER NOIDA: In two brazen incidents of loot, a group of assailants allegedly robbed petrol pump employees of Rs 10 lakh at gunpoint in central and Greater Noida on Friday.
Following the incident, commissioner of police Alok Kumar Singh suspended Surajpur station house officer Pradeep Tripathi for alleged negligence. Sources said that similar action could be taken against Beta II SHO Sujeet Upadhyay as well.
The first incident took place in Surajpur when two employees of the Indian Oil petrol pump travelling on a scooter were intercepted by the miscreants who snatched the keys of their scooter that had Rs 8 lakh kept inside its boot.

PHOENIX â A man was shot during an armed robbery that took place in the area of 27th Avenue and I-10 shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Phoenix police say officers responded to the area where they found a man with a gunshot wound that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The man told authorities he was robbed at gunpoint and the suspect had shot him.
Police said following the shooting, the victim was inside of a vehicle that ran into a tree.
The incident remains under investigation.
