The junior finished first in girls diving at the PIAA 3A Swimming and Diving Championships at Bucknell University, with a total of 478.40 points. Hillier recorded a score of 499.70 in winning the PIAA District 1 3A diving title.
Main Line swimmers sparkled at the PIAA Swimming & Diving Championships March 13-16 at Bucknell University, particularly those from Conestoga High School. Conestoga senior Jake Wang was named the PIAA 3A Boys Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row, while the Conestoga boys team finished a best-ever second place in the PIAA 3A boys team competition.
It’s been another memorable season for both the Conestoga High School boys and girls swimming teams this winter. The Pioneer girls team, the defending PIAA District 1 3A champions, went undefeated in Central League meets then swept to a first place finish in the Central League Meet last weekend, capturing their ninth consecutive Central League title.
