The Main Line produced a fine number of outstanding swimmers this past winter. At Conestoga, senior Jake Wang, who was named the Boys Swimmer of the Meet at the PIAA 3A Swimming and Diving Championships for the second year in a row, led the Pioneer boys team to a best-ever second-place finish. It’s been another memorable season for both the Conestoga High School boys and girls swimming teams this winter. The Pioneer girls team, the defending PIAA District 1 3A champions, went undefeated in Central League meets then swept to a first place finish in the Central League Meet last weekend, capturing their ninth consecutive Central League title.
The Conestoga High School boys and girls swimming teams, who went through the dual meet season undefeated in the Central League (9-0 overall, 6-0 Central), got off to a great start on the first day of the two-day Central League Meet at Ridley High School Friday.
