Its expected to be a long and uncomfortably warm night for a lot of families across the bay area, and a busy night for the pg e crews. This is where the big trucks come and go to make repairs up and down the Santa Clara Valley here. Right now there is a slight lull. But theyre coming and going all day long for the past few hours. Inside the operation center, crews are tracking those outages and waiting for more. Crews spent the day loading up the trucks with new transformers and heading out to bring power back to customers.
