After looking out on empty courses for weeks, Sam Yawney expects business to pick up big time this weekend.
President of Golf Sudbury, which runs the Timberwolf, Cedar Green, Monte Vista, Pine Grove and Stonehill clubs, Yawney was thrilled on Thursday to hear the provincial government announce a new phased reopening framework â in particular, that outdoor recreational facilities such as golf courses and tennis courts will be allowed to open this coming Saturday.
