After looking out on empty courses for weeks, Sam Yawney expects business to pick up big time this weekend.
President of Golf Sudbury, which runs the Timberwolf, Cedar Green, Monte Vista, Pine Grove and Stonehill clubs, Yawney was thrilled on Thursday to hear the provincial government announce a new phased reopening framework â in particular, that outdoor recreational facilities such as golf courses and tennis courts will be allowed to open this coming Saturday.

Science: Science North will provide free virtual workshops from Monday, April 12, to Saturday, April 17. To offset the closure of the science centre and in-person schooling, Science North Bluecoats will be offering daily workshops in English and French across its social media channels. From chemistry and coding to anatomy and animal demonstrations, Science North has spring break covered. Workshops will be held on Science North’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
