The Teachers Union of Tamil Nadu has sought immediate withdrawal of a recent circular issued by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) that requires various department heads to provide prior information on the seminars and lecture series .
Police kept the university gates closed and allowed no one to enter after the talk began but the programme was wrapped up an hour after it began following the requests from police and university authorities.
