A loss-making ferry service used by private school students has been saved after a backflip from the NSW government.
Students from Saint Ignatiusâ College Riverview faced the prospect of commuting to school on buses, which would add up to 20 minutes to journey times, after Captain Cook Cruises announced last month that the Lane Cove ferry service would cease on December 18.
