In the latest development in the Rs 22,842 crore fraud allegedly committed by ABG Shipyard company, the Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested it s promoter Rishi Kamlesh Agarwal.
The ED probe revealed that ABG Shipyard Ltd and its Chairman & Managing Director Rishi Kamlesh Agarwal availed various credit facilities/loans from a consortium of Banks on the pretext of meeting its capital requirements and other business expenses.
The ED today said it has attached shipyards, agricultural lands, commercial properties and bank deposits worth more than Rs 2,747 crore as part of an alleged bank loan fraud linked money laundering investigation against ABG Shipyard Ltd.
