Wed, 05/19/2021 - 12:15pm Timothy Robert Woodbury. Timothy Robert Woodbury, 66, of Liberty passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020. A graveside service will be held at Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Morrill Village Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home. Memories and condolences may be offered to the family at www.ripostafh.com Timothy Robert Woodbury passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020 due to complications of Alzheimer s disease. He was the son of Francis and Norma Roberts Woodbury and was born on May 12, 1954 in Bangor, Maine. Tim grew up on a family dairy farm in Morrill, Maine. He attended Belfast Area High School where he played basketball and baseball. He was known as Buddha” by his basketball fans. He also played college basketball at the University of Maine at Bangor.

Tue, 05/11/2021 - 9:15am WALDO Edward M. Beckett, Sr., 86 passed away peacefully at his home on May 9, 2021. He was born on March 10, 1935, in Northport to Melvin and Dorothy (Mahoney) Beckett. He married Helen M. (Leadbetter) of Searsmont and raised nine children: Edward Jr., Denise, Wilma, Charles, Eugene, Jon, Pamela, Paula, and Dennis. He was an experienced truck driver and retired from Dead River Transportation in 1995. He received years and years of safe driving awards and was proud to state that he had logged 2 and a half million miles. He also enjoyed bird, deer, and moose hunting. Upon retiring he purchased land and built a camp in northern Maine (Haynesville) where he and his partner, Bev Maddocks, enjoyed riding the dirt roads in search of wildlife and scenery.

Lloyd Hervey Wentworth. BELFAST Lloyd Hervey Wentworth passed peacefully on March 1, 2021 at the age of 91. Lloyd was born and brought up on a farm in Knox, Maine. He often shared cherished memories of his farm upbringing with his family.   Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Zenaide (Grant) Wentworth; sister, Charlotte; and brothers Malcolm and James. His brother Basil Wentworth and wife Leah and other family members still reside in Knox. After leaving the farm, a boyhood dream came true. He proudly attended and graduated from Maine Maritime Academy as an engineer. He shared this experience with his lifelong friend, Allan Brown. He continued his affiliation with MMA through the Maritime Reserves. Being faithful to and proud of his Alma Mater, Lloyd returned in the summers to enjoy MMA Homecoming, especially the football games.
