Were looking at two of the weeks big stories whats happening in russia as men flee the country after president putins call up of reservists to fight in ukraine and his threat to use Nuclear Weapons, and also the british governments announcement of sweeping tax cuts the most far reaching for half a century. Well, im joined to discuss all this with polly toynbee, columnist from the guardian, Stephanie Baker of bloomberg news, and Latika Bourke of the sydney morning herald. So, cuts to income tax, corporation tax, National Insurance and stamp duty and removing the cap on bankers bonuses. It will cost tens of billions of pounds. The government says it will boost growth, the labour party say it will reward the rich. Stephanie, lets start off with you. This is being called a gamble for growth. Is it a gamble thats going to pay off, do you think . Well, its certainly a gamble. I have real doubts about whethe

request privacy at this time. my god. both prominent figures in the news. we do not know the motivation for this attack. we know nothing about the assailant just yet. this all just happened in the last few minutes. we re grateful that mr. pelosi seems, per the statement, like he s going to make a recovery. but certainly a terrible tragedy. we ll try to figure out more about the assailant and what caused this attack. mika, we don t have a motive. we ll be very cautious about that right now. but there is a suspect in custody so we ll learn that very quickly, it would seem, whether this was an act of street crime, a burglary or break-in or something worse remains to be seen. but, again, speaker pelosi s husband, paul pelosi, was beat on the point he had to be taken to the hospital. oh, my god. he is going to make a recovery. speaker pelosi was not there. this all taking place inside their home in san francisco. and obviously no connection we don t know what the mo
citizens of the rich liberal enclave handle the monumental crisis by calling in the national guard and shipping them off to an air force base. donald trump didn t even call in the guard when cities were burned to the ground. and here they re called in for vicki migrants. but i get it what if somebody wanted use the bathroom. they will probably want some food right? a glass of water we don t want that so within 48 hours those migrants were off martha s vineyard faster than a kennedy fling a submerged vehicle. [laughter] [applause] greg: they get away with it. they always get away with it. so they rejected the migrants the same way they reject giant turbine windmills that disturb their views. it s another liberal wet dream that exposed the hypocrisy. the democrat motto should be not in my backyard. unless you re there to rake the leaves. [applause] yes the proud sanctuary city when faced with being a sanctuary can put up or shut up. so this was on the mark migrants showed up.
