We have to have governor who will focus on removing the barriers that have caused so much depression and so much poverty on people that we have such high drug utilization. We have to make sure workers have a good education, opportunity for jobs and hope for the fewer. Right now so many feel hopeless, feel in despair and turn to drugs. We need to ensure that they do not have to have that kind of despair and my message to them is, if you feel in despair, will give you hope for a future. We consistently hear that federal aid is decreasing and federal mandates are increasing. Can you say what they can do to improve the lives of those . We have been doing a lot. First of all, we tried to be as flexible as possible. There is a number of places where we have shown that flexibility. Going forward, they depend on what we are doing in the federal budget. Thats why that debate over how much we will invest over infrastructure and feechers and research and programs like the cops program. All of these things are contingent on this broader debate over what to do about the spending levels. Thats one that we think is very much on the side of the nations cities. Providing weaponry to it the ukrainian government. The Prime Ministers statement yesterday mentioned that some nato partners were providing weaponry to ukraine. And i saw a list of five or six countries. The uk was not amongst them. Why not . The uk doesnt believe that there can be a military solution to the conflict in the ukraine. Ukrainian forces mad s made significant gains over a period of weeks after the incident. But we saw over the last two weeks that russia will not allow those gains to stand and that they were merely met with a response of further illegal incursion by formed russian units. We dont want to encourage the ukrainians to believe that there can be a military solution to this conflict. Other nato partners, norway, the United States, france, i think, other countries clearly take a different view. This is a bilateral issue. This is not a nato decision. Its a bilateral decision.
