The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District will host two second-dose COVID-19 clinics from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Richard R. Flores Stadium, located at 1800 south Stadium Drive, this week.
According to a news release, patients who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine at Vela High School on April 15 are eligible for a vaccine clinic held Wednesday, May 12.
Patients who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine at Vela High School on April 16 are eligible for a clinic held Thursday, May 13.

The city of Edinburg will hold a second dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, May 5.
The clinic is only for people who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine at Vela High School on April 7, 2021.
The clinic will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Richard R. Flores Stadium located at 1800 S. Stadium Dr. in Edinburg.
Recipients are asked to bring their COVID-19 vaccination card.

The Edinburg school district and the city of Edinburg are currently holding a first-dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic.
The vaccine clinic is happening until 3 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at the Richard R. Flores Stadium –located at 1800 S. Stadium Dr. It is one of two remaining clinics happening this week in Edinburg.
The city will hold another vaccine clinic Saturday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Edinburg north High School located at 3101 N. Closner Blvd.
Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are being distributed to those 18 years and older on a first come, first serve basis. Walk-ins are welcome and IDs and pre-registrations aren’t required.
Pre-registration is not required for any of the clinics.
Officials say Moderna vaccines will distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to people 18 years of age and older.
The first clinic will take place at San Carlos Elementary School located at 505S. 83rd Street in Edinburg on Tuesday, April 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The second clinic will take place at Richard R. Flores Stadium located at 1800 S. Stadium Drive in Edinburg on Thursday, April 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The third clinic will take place at Edinburg North High School located at 3101 N. Closner Boulevard on Saturday, May 1, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
