Its my pleasure today to introduce our two speakers in order of their appearance. First up this morning is professor Tracy Campbell of the department of history of the university of kentucky. Professor campbell who received his ba from the university of kentucky and his pad at Duke University has a remarkable record of teaching and scholarship on the political and social history of the United States and the 20th century. Is it cold out there. Temperatures below freezing in many neighborhoods and clouds increasing throughout the day today. Were looking at a dry start and dry finish for most but things will be changing as we get through the morning hours. Heres a look at the storm system that will be headed our way and a live look outside from roof camera. Temperatures wow, 46 in San Francisco, 35 in gilroy, mid 40s Mountain View and san jose. Look at this panel where numbers are still in the 30s from santa rosa to napa and livermore. Weve got upper 40s santa rosas as well as novato. Mid 50s for concord and livermore. A bit cooler this morning due to cloud cover and calmer winds at the surface anywhere from 6 to 9 degrees cooler.
