They Were Good People : Moore County Mourns Slain Stalwarts | News

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said the elderly Aberdeen couple shot to death at their Roseland Road home on Friday were “pillars of our community.” “They were both widely known and loved,” Fields said of D.P. and Mary Lou Black. “Their deaths have been a tremendous loss for us all.” D.P. He was always helping people.”
